FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Verifiable digital record. Not automatic legal proof.
Can ChatGPT preserve webpages?
Yes, through CRYSTALIZE after Preview and your confirmation. You receive an Evidence Package you can download and verify later.
What is an Evidence Package?
A complete archive for one capture: page content (screenshot / HTML), a human-readable PDF report, integrity and time marks, a signed record, and tools to verify the package offline. See the overview on the homepage.
Can I verify a package offline?
Yes. Each package includes verification helpers. Compare the included public key fingerprint with our published page: Signing keys.
Can I preserve multiple sources?
Yes — typically with confirmation per source or grouped preview UX.
Does ChatGPT store my evidence?
The system of record is CRYSTALIZE / your plan retention — not the chat transcript.
Can I preserve authenticated pages?
Yes, via the Capture Agent (browser extension path) when login is required. Same Evidence Package model.
What if the page shows a login wall or cookie banner?
The package may include quality signals so you know the capture might not reflect the full intended content. You stay informed — nothing is hidden.
Does CRYSTALIZE automatically prove legal authenticity?
No. It creates a verifiable digital record. Legal weight depends on context and professionals.
Can I use CRYSTALIZE without ChatGPT?
Yes — SaaS tool and enterprise deployments.
Is it a crawler?
No. Only requested content, after confirmation.
